The Pears on the Yard - Food 47

We have a pear tree full of pear last summer, sometimes, animals in the backyard stealing them before we pick them all.

Image 01 - Two pears hang on the branches.

If the critters use that pear tree as part of their tree or bush pathway around our yard, they usually will take the pears.

In case of our pears, there are 4 main critters to steal the fruit in our neighborhood, they are including:
- birds
- squirrels
- raccoons
- rodents

We may pick the fruits when their sizes about fist or tennis ball, then store in the dark place for a week or weeks, and they will ripen.

Do you like pears?

  11. Your pear tree looks amazing.
It’s funny how critters like squirrels and birds always seem to get their share first.

  22. Those pesky critters sure know a good snack when they see one. Birds, squirrels, raccoons, and rodents—quite the variety of fruit thieves in your neighbourhood. It must be a bit of a challenge trying to outsmart them to get to those pears before they do!

Your posts on boiled peanuts and mozzarella cheeses also sound really interesting. It's always fun to learn about different food cultures. Keep sharing these delightful posts, and I hope you're able to beat the critters to the next batch of pears!
