The Orchid Flowers in Singapore - Nature 115

 We have two previous posted about Singapore in respect to indoor garden and variety of succulent plants.

Singapore ever be top world exporter of orchids in the world, but now, has a lot of competitors, from around the globe, and even from Europe (Netherland) and America (USA).

Thailand is the competitor from neighbor country. It exports about US$ 67.6 million in 2021.

Netherland is a competitor from Europe, and even as top orchid exporter in the world in 2021.

Singapore has about 220 species of native orchid species, grow well in Singapore forest and natural reserves.

We may find about 1,000 species and more than 2,000 of orchid hybrids in the Singapore orchid garden.

  16. The holidays are finally over. I'm delighted to read about your lovely story in today's post.

    Now we are curious to see what the turn of the year will bring? Hopefully more peace, more insight into sustainability for the whole of nature. It is urgently needed!

  17. I adore orchids. Everything about them amazes me - the slender stalks. The mass of flowers on the end of the slender stalks. How long the flowers last. The incredible variety of orchids.

    My favorites are the ones that I can find growing naturally in Montana - the first one I ever saw is called the Calypso Orchid. I was dumbfounded to see them growing in the middle of the forest!
