We might find free ranging chickens in rural areas or countryside in America, if we lucky enough.
Just to let you know that we have two previous posted related to chickens:
In case you don't know, the free ranging chicken is a chicken or chickens roaming at outdoor freely. The chickens have advantages to access sunshine, fresh air and food sources naturally.
We buy eggs of the free ranging chickens at suburban areas of our city sometimes. The eggs are sold by small vendors or chicken's owners.
Image 2 - Chicken eggs, sold by a vendor.
The eggs contain vitamin D and "higher in omega-3 fatty acids," better than caged or conventional chickens.
The chickens less chance to be infected by diseases, include E.coli and Salmonella, since they are healthier by moving around and doing exercises.
Have you tried eggs of far-ranging chickens?

ReplyDeleteI invite you to visit my last post. Have a good week!
Pasture raised chicken tastes so much better!
ReplyDeleteNo hay comida más buena y sencilla que dos huevos fritos con patatas, ajajja. Y por supuestos los huevos de las gallinas que se creían en el campo , nada que ver con los de granja. Un besote.

I always try to buy eggs from free-range chickens. But a few weeks ago a friend gave me eggs from her free-range farm chickens - my goodness the difference - the yolks were so yellow! Enjoy your week. I am joining you at Mosaic Monday.
